This series is created by a mixed media artist named Nikki Farquharson.  In collaboration with photographer Brooke Nipar, she illustrated these pieces for New York's Missbehave Magazine.  She works primarily with pens and paper and her main interests are colors, patterns, shapes, typography, language, and communication.  I was drawn to these images because I liked how she combined the photographs with the illustrations (especially the model's hair) and I was drawn to her use of color and patterns within her entire body of work.
